Banal Chic Bizarre's 2013 Spring/Summer collection was unveiled at the Shibuya Fashion Festival held at Miyashita Park. The theme was "Water Battle Survivor." "I wanted to create cool designs for the water gun survival game," said designer Shun Nakagawa.

Since the theme was a water gun game, military wear was featured in bright colors like mint green and purple camouflage and floral patterns. Accessories such as Boston bags and vests with plenty of pockets were also available. Although this was a men's wear presentation, all the models were women. The tribal-inspired makeup around the eyes was inspired by the "eye black" worn by baseball players. Nakagawa said she wanted to express the strength and transparency of a fighting woman.

The runway was held on the bridge connecting the parks, with the Yamanote Line in the background. Nakagawa said she had always wanted to perform in this location.
