Lady Gaga visits Japan for the first time in a year and a half. She is greeted by little monsters and love dolls.

Nov 26, 2013

Lady Gaga visited Japan for the seventh time to promote her new album, "ARTPOP," which was released in Japan ahead of the rest of the world on November 6th. Amid a thronging crowd of media and over 500 Little Monster fans, Gaga emerged from the arrivals area of Narita Airport in a formal beige jumpsuit by Norma Kamali, topped off with 15cm high heels and unique sunglasses. Gaga sprinted toward her fans, signing autographs, taking photos, and giving gifts, enjoying a long-awaited exchange with her Japanese fans. Returning to Japan for the first time in a year and a half, Gaga excitedly commented, "Let me just say one thing: I've been looking forward to coming to Japan. Thank you for inviting me! See you soon!" and blew a kiss. She also posted on Facebook, "I just arrived in Japan and was greeted by so many angelic Japanese little monsters. Thank you for all the 'Art Pop' gifts! I'll treasure them all," once again demonstrating her professed love for Japan. To commemorate the album's release, the internationally acclaimed creative lab PARTY and Orient Industries, a manufacturer of real love dolls, have created the world's first life-size Gaga-like listening device, "GAGADOLL." Special silicone molding recreates Gaga's realistic facial expressions and delicate skin. By placing your face against the chest of the "GAGADOLL" and hugging it, you can listen to songs from "ARTPOP" and hear a message from the artist via the built-in bone conduction speaker. Gaga is also scheduled to appear live on TV Asahi's "Music Station Special: Super Luxury Artist Premium Live" on November 29th.
