Lalitpur, an organic skincare brand from Nepal, will grand open its first flagship store in Omotesando, Tokyo (4-23-6 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on November 1st.
Lalitpur is an organic skincare brand that has attracted attention for its blends of rare wild herbs from Nepal. It was founded by Mai Mukaida with the desire to "bring the blessings of the Himalayas to Japanese women and to give Nepalese women the freedom and work they can be proud of." All items are handcrafted by Nepalese women, utilizing the highest quality of Nepal's natural bounty, including herbs native to the Nepalese Himalayas. Furthermore, the packaging is a collaboration with artists and cultural figures.
The flagship store will feature the brand's full lineup. In addition to the signature product "Facial Soap JY," which is made with plenty of jatamansi essential oil and yak milk, the store will also sell a starter coffret that allows you to experience Lalitpur's products in small sizes, and the gift set series "Message Soap, in time," whose concept and art direction was handled by creative innovation firm takram.
