MDNA SKIN, a skincare brand born from a collaboration between Madonna, the world's Queen of Pop and icon of feminine beauty, and Japanese beauty company MTG, will release new face wash, mist, and eye mask products on February 17th. MDNA SKIN, produced by Madonna herself, was launched in 2014. Michelle Peck, Madonna's personal skincare artist, served as an advisor for product development, testing and adjusting ingredients down to 0.1% on Madonna's own skin. The products contain Montecatini water, sourced from the Italian hot spring resort of Montecatini. As the hot spring water rises from the ground, it absorbs abundant minerals from limestone, jasper, limestone, sandstone, and soil. This gives it a strong affinity with the skin, allowing it to easily penetrate and retain moisture, enhancing the skin's self-healing abilities. The newly launched "The Face Wash" (4,500 yen) is a face wash containing Montecatini olive oil and hot spring water. It can be used as a face wash by lathering it with a small amount of water, and as the oil-based gel blends smoothly into sebum-causing dirt, it can also be used as a makeup remover without adding water. Also included in the lineup are "The Rose Mist" (12,000 yen), which Madonna was particular about, saying, "I wanted to create a scent that makes you feel like you're wrapped in a warm rose mist," and "The Eye Mask" (4,800 yen), which Madonna uses every morning.
