MDNA SKIN, a skincare brand produced by pop music queen Madonna, will be released nationwide on February 17th. To commemorate the launch, Madonna herself attended a press event held at Ginza Mitsukoshi on February 15th.
Appearing about an hour later than scheduled, Madonna slowly made her entrance, exuding an aura, clad in a tight black dress that showed off her sexy figure. When a visual panel featuring her was unveiled, she signed it. During the photo session, she struck various poses and responded to the photographer's requests in Japanese, saying "Arigatou gozaimasu," appearing in high spirits throughout. She left the venue blowing a kiss.
The brand's representative director, Matsushita Tsuyoshi, expressed relief, saying, "I was nervous about how the shoot would turn out until the very last moment," and expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I'm honored that we can launch the new brand with her at Ginza Mitsukoshi today. We'll be launching in Hong Kong on February 19th, and then we plan to expand to Asia, Europe, and America." Additionally, Taiyo Onishi, Representative Director and President of Mitsukoshi Isetan Holdings, said, "We really want to convey Madonna's thoughts to our customers. We also want to continue to propose new products while examining the nature of 'Made in Japan' beauty products."
The products will be released nationwide on February 17th.
