On November 20th, Yoyogi VILLAGE by kurkku will host a one-day-only special event called "GOOD SUNDAY MARKET ~Sweet Warm Candles~," where the entire venue will be filled with candles.
This event is part of the "GOOD SUNDAY MARKET," an event aimed at people who live in the city but still want to live a lifestyle that values nature. Various projects will be held on the day, based on the theme of "candles x lifestyle." One of the highlights will be the simultaneous candle decorations throughout Yoyogi VILLAGE by a total of 10 candle artists. Photos of the artists' works and decorations will be posted on the JCA's official Instagram account, "@jca_official," and the grand prize and runner-up will be decided based on the number of "likes" received by each artist's decoration photo and a paper vote.
In addition, various stores will be participating this time as well. Other stores making their debut at the market include Grade Aroma Candles, which offers essential oil-infused aroma candles and is said to be the best-selling aroma candle in New York. Horoyoi offers homemade mulled wine and sangria, carefully brewed over a long period of time. THE TOKYO CORK, an original cork brand created by the "TOKYO CORK PROJECT," which collects and recycles corks from wine and other products that would otherwise be discarded. LAGRANOLA, which sells handmade granola based on an ethical concept, will also be opening their first stores at the market. In addition, a fantastical space decorated with candles will feature live music performances by a stellar lineup of artists. There will also be a candle-making workshop under the guidance of "Candle Studio Daikanyama," a candle-making school in Nakameguro, Tokyo. There will also be workshops where you can make necklaces out of Hawaiian flowers and create stylish chalk art. There will also be a candlelight yoga event.
