
"ART PHOTO TOKYO -edition zero-," a photo fair showcasing works by globally renowned photographers and video creators, will be held at the Kayabacho Kyodo Building in Tokyo from November 18th to 20th. Approximately 60 artists, including galleries and top creators, will exhibit a wide variety of genre-bending artworks, including photographs and collaborations between photography and video. The exhibition features works by a diverse group of artists, including photographer Leslie Kee, who has photographed celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Yumi Matsutoya, and Ayumi Hamasaki; acclaimed film director Mika Ninagawa; internationally renowned designer Yasumichi Morita, who created the "Kimono Forest" bamboo forest that envelops Kyoto's Arashiyama Station in a mystical Japanese aesthetic; and filmmaker, director, and photographer Kensaku Kakimoto, who has worked on numerous TV commercials and music videos.
In addition, smartphone workshops and talk events will be held to allow children to enjoy art works up close. Other planned events include live performances by music and video creators, an exhibition of unreleased cars by Lexus, a plant shop called Qusamura, and special talks by SENSE editor-in-chief Moriya Satoshi, Mika Ninagawa, and Leslie Kee.
