The second term of "Lemon Life Design School" has begun! 12 instructors including Ellie Omiya, Masamichi Toyama, Kozue Akimoto, and Leslie Kee

The second term of the "Lemon Life Design School" by Lemon Life, headed by art director Tetsuya Chihara, has begun. The 16-part course will begin on November 5th at Material Kyoto in Kyoto.

The "Lemon Life Design School" is a design school run by Lemon Life, headed by Tetsuya Chihara, who has worked on a variety of designs, including CD jackets, magazines, and films. It invites leading creators from a variety of genres as guest lecturers, and fosters the ability to solve real social issues through design, based on the concepts of "ultra-practical" and "combining the creative talents of Kyoto and Tokyo." Applications are open to anyone, regardless of age or occupation, from working adults to students.

This second term will consist of 16 sessions, each featuring an open lecture by a distinguished guest lecturer and a networking event. Lecturers for this course include Tetsuya Chihara of Lemon Life, photographer Leslie Kee, model Kozue Akimoto, Masamichi Toyama of Smiles, artists Noritaka Tatehana, Ed Tsuwaki, talent and actress Megumi, Ellie Omiya (who is active in a wide range of fields including writer, film director, and painter), space composer Junji Tanigawa, Toshiko Nakajima, editor-in-chief of GINZA, comedians JaruJaru, television writer Mitsuru Kuramoto, stylist Kumi Saito, art director Gugi Akiyama, and Isshin Inudou (who is also active as a film director, commercial director, and scriptwriter). The course fee is 120,000 yen (tax included). Information sessions for the school will also be held at Material Kyoto from 7 PM on October 14th and noon on the 18th.
