Colored pencils produce petal-like shavings. "Flower Colored Pencils" inspired by dandelions and bellflowers are now on sale.

Nov 8, 2016

Starting November 6th, TRINUS, a platform for innovative manufacturing, is selling eco-friendly "Flower Colored Pencils" (5-piece set/¥1,800) made from recycled paper. TRINUS has collaborated with small and medium-sized Japanese manufacturers boasting outstanding technology and innovative designers to develop products. This time, they are releasing colored pencils that represent traditional Japanese flowers through their cross-sectional shapes and colors. Light pink represents cherry blossoms, dark pink represents red plum blossoms, yellow represents dandelions, green represents evergreen leaves, and blue represents bellflowers. Sharpening the pencils also produces petal-like shavings, making these colored pencils full of playfulness. The shafts around the cores are made from a new, eco-friendly material made from recycled paper, resulting in unique soft colors and easy sharpening. The pencils use high-quality, domestically produced colored pencils, offering a comfortable writing experience. In addition to these colored pencils, postcards that can be colored (5 pieces/800 yen) and message cards (1,000 yen) are also on sale this time.
