Jun 6, 2017

Versace has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2017-18 advertising campaign, shot by photographer Bruce Weber. Artistic director Donatella Versace conveys powerful messages of "unity" and "hope" through the campaign. For the women's collection, models Gigi Hadid, Mika Arganaraz, Taylor Hill, and Vittoria Ceretti are featured. They are dressed in designs that embody messages of "equality," "strength," and "love," which are featured in the Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection. The men's models include Barry Lomeka, Barak Shamir, Filip Wolf, Saul Rodriguez, Alpha Dia, Valentine Rontez, Tristian Thevenot, and Michael Gioia. The collection embodies masculine power and the brotherhood of Versace, blending the imagery, beliefs, and styles of different men to create a new vision of the "Versace man." Donatella Versace said of the campaign, "The message of this campaign is clear and straightforward: no matter who we are or where we come from, we need unity, love, and coexistence." Bruce Weber, meanwhile, commented, "After talking with Donatella about what's happening in the world today, I wanted to photograph people who are making things happen and those who are helping them. I see this campaign as a protest for peace and a call for much-needed human connection."
