Prada's "365" advertising campaign has unveiled two new series for the Pre-Fall collection.
The "365" campaign represents a new approach to Prada's fashion campaigns, showcasing a multidimensional world through multiple storylines throughout the season. Photographed by Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre, the campaign reinterprets the Pre-Fall collection away from the runway.
"Encounters" features the collection's new faces, models Selena Forrest, Kris Grikaite, and Nina Gulien, capturing ambiguous yet genuine encounters. In the images, the women appear relaxed and poised in someone's home. Lying on the floor in a room by a fireplace or simply standing up from a chair for no apparent reason, the camera captures real moments that occur in extremely ordinary, unrehearsed environments. It is not simply a representation of reality, but also a glimpse into the source of inspiration for the collection, the realism and honesty that are at its core.
Meanwhile, "Parallels," a story starring actress Jessica Chastain, expresses strength and intimacy in a realistic setting, featuring scenes both inside and outside a modernist home. Jessica Chastain's overwhelming expressiveness has resulted in images where reality and fantasy coexist, even raising the question of whether this is a portrait of herself or a character. She is wearing key pieces from the Pre-Fall collection, such as a mohair cardigan with delicate floral embroidery and a retro-style handbag, adding a classic touch of elegance, reminiscent of a scene from a film. The resulting images are colorful yet somehow nostalgic and warm, a testament to Prada's signature style.
