Take a cue from Parisian women for a timeless jeans style! The styling technique is "masculine" [Paris Snap]

Oct 16, 2020
Paris Fashion Week's Spring/Summer 2021 collections were held from September 28th to October 6th. The first-ever Paris Fashion Week, combining physical and digital formats, featured a total of 84 brands, with 19 runway shows, 20 presentations, and 45 digital streams.

With no travelers from Asia or the United States, attendance was significantly reduced, and seating capacity in each venue was reduced to about a quarter of the usual amount to ensure social distancing, making for a strangely lackluster season... Nevertheless, each brand expressed "hope" for the future through fashion, and in response, attendees graced the off-runway stage in stunning attire.

This season, many brands offered "real clothes" that emphasized comfort, perhaps inspired by the experience of spending time at home during lockdown. This trend was also evident in attendee fashion, with an unusually relaxed and effortless look. When it comes to casual style, jeans are a timeless staple!

1. Monica (Influencer/Journalist)

Monica, who lives in Paris, chose white boyfriend jeans. She styled them cleanly with a preppy tailored jacket and a fall-colored knit. Her messy hair, tucked under a slim scarf in the same color as her top, adds a touch of casualness and creates a pleasant impression without being overly dressed.

2. Eugenie (Editor)

Eugenie, editor of French Vogue, is very casual in white straight-leg jeans and Converse sneakers. She coordinates her belt, jacket, and bag in brown to create a cohesive look, while maintaining a feminine touch with her top. With the rise of online meetings, embellishments around the face are one of this season's trends, and color-conscious tops like hers are likely to become increasingly popular in the future.

3. Camille (Editor)

Off-white jeans and a menswear-inspired vintage jacket and boots, as if borrowed from her grandfather's wardrobe, create a sophisticated, macho vibe. The bag is also a well-worn Hermès, giving the impression of a Parisian woman with a sophisticated penchant for vintage clothing.

4. Anne-Sophie (Chef)

Chef Anne-Sophie chose slightly flared blue jeans. Paired with a loose knit sweater and a menswear-inspired jacket, this look showcased a masculine take on jeans. No one can match Parisian women for their timeless, timeless fashion!

Extra Edition

Masks are mandatory both indoors and outdoors in Paris. At the entrance to the venue, brands handed out masks and security guards inspected them, creating a strict security system. While there were a variety of masks on display, including surgical masks and original cloth masks, the most common were black masks. They don't interfere with your fashion sense, but they have a somewhat alluring vibe!
