On November 22nd, a new commercial facility, "Nakameguro Koukashita," will open beneath the elevated tracks around Nakameguro Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line and Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line.
The facility was created through redevelopment of approximately 700 meters of the space beneath the elevated tracks around Nakameguro Station, which was previously lined with restaurants. The facility will house a total of 28 stores, six on the Daikanyama side and 22 on the Yutenji side across Yamate-dori Street. Directly opposite the main ticket gate at Nakameguro Station is Nakameguro Tsutaya Bookstore. In addition to offering a carefully curated selection of books and magazines on fashion, art, and design, as well as lifestyle goods and gift items, the facility also offers comfortable sofas, tables, and a work counter where you can relax with a Starbucks coffee or craft beer.

Behind it you'll find MHL., the casual line from Margaret Howell, soup specialty store Soup Stock Tokyo, and Japan's first French toast specialty store, LONCAFE STAND NAKAMEGURO, a popular cafe in Enoshima, which is opening its first store in Tokyo. The French toast is crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside, and is a staple of the restaurant. Nakameguro-exclusive dishes include "Lime Cream Tiramisu" and "Rich Crème Brulee French Toast," and you can also enjoy pairings with champagne and wine.

Crossing the Meguro River and heading towards Daikanyama, you'll find PAVILION, a new contemporary food and liquor store by Smiles, the company behind Soup Stock Tokyo. Passing through a 50-meter corridor leads you to a store with ceilings over 5 meters high, where huge works by artists such as Nawa Kohei and Nishino Tatsu are displayed. Seating options include large, single-piece tables, a bar counter, private and semi-private rooms with very narrow couple's seats, and a terrace. Lunchtime specials include original three-tiered bento boxes, takeout rolls, and curry, while dinner features seasonal vegetables delivered directly from the source and rare meats grilled in an oven.
