"MATSUKIN THINK ABOUT SPENDING MONEY," a special event featuring one-night-only special menus, will be held on November 25th at six stores in the Oku-Shibuya area.
"MATSUKIN THINK ABOUT SPENDING MONEY" was born from the desire to foster the old yet new consumer culture of "spending money to support causes" in Oku-Shibuya. As part of a "gentle consumer revolution on the last Friday of the month (= Matsukin)," special menus and events will be offered at bookstores, culture centers, cafes, and restaurants in the Oku-Shibuya area on the last Friday of the month.
On the first day of the event, November 25th, each store will offer a one-night-only special menu. Fuglen Tokyo will be selling special cocktails in collaboration with PATH and Minimal from 7 PM. PATH will be serving lemon cake made with premium lemons grown naturally in Kumamoto from 8 AM. Additionally, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Minimal will be offering a service where Minimal chocolates can be paired with alcohol, coffee, or tea, and will be offering a limited edition of 10 chocolate bars made with Minimal's original cocoa beans.
Workshops will also be held. SHIBUYA CHEESE STAND will be holding an event where you can experience making chocolate from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and SHIBUYA PUBLISHING & BOOKSELLERS will be holding an event focusing on "how to spend money" from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. UPLINK will be hosting a talk event from 7:30 PM to learn about the origins of Lucille Hazarilovic, director of the film "Evolution." There will also be a stamp rally where you can visit participating stores and collect three stamps to receive discounts and other benefits.
