Special exhibition of "HUBLOT DESIGN PRIZE 2016" finalists Yota Tsunoda and Keita Suzuki, first Japanese finalists, to be held in Shibuya

A special exhibition by product designers Yota Tsunoda and Keita Suzuki will be held from October 31st to November 6th at SHOWCASE-aiiima 2, located in Creative Lounge MOV, a co-working space within Shibuya Hikarie. Yota Tsunoda and Keita Suzuki were the first Japanese designers to be selected as one of the eight finalists for the HUBLOT DESIGN PRIZE 2016, which recognizes globally acclaimed designers under 40. This exhibition will feature a variety of items designed by Yota Tsunoda and Suzuki, as well as prototypes created during the creative process, providing an opportunity to learn about their creative process and techniques. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2007, Yota Tsunoda worked as a product designer for MUJI from 2008 before founding YOTA KAKUDA DESIGN in 2011. His work on furniture, home appliances, household goods, and packaging has been highly acclaimed both in Japan and overseas. After graduating from Tama Art University, Suzuki Keita founded PRODUCT DESIGN CENTER in 2012. His own brand, "THE," has opened "THE SHOP" at KITTE in Tokyo Station. The brand has won design awards around the world, including the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award.
