To celebrate the 30th anniversary of DIESEL's arrival in Japan, PORTER will release a collaboration collection with artist Tadanori Yokoo, "DIESEL x PORTER ARTWORK by TADANORI YOKOO," exclusively in Japan. The collection will be available for pre-sale at the DIESEL ART GALLERY in Shibuya, Tokyo, on November 24th.
The collection includes six different bags and wallets. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, from the design to the finest details, the bags are made from PORTER's signature soft three-layer (bonded) material, with a nylon twill surface, polyester cotton middle layer, and polyester taffeta backing. The lightweight yet durable body features a print of Yokoo's artwork, "RK." The lineup consists of six models: daypack (39,000 yen), backpack (49,000 yen), waist bag (27,000 yen), 3-way briefcase (43,000 yen), and wallet (long/16,800 yen, bifold/13,800 yen). The collection will be released in advance on November 24th, and will then be available at Diesel stores (excluding some stores), the Diesel online store, and KURA CHIKA YOSHIDA Omotesando from November 25th. In addition, a pop-up store by Tadanori Yokoo will be open at the Diesel Art Gallery from November 25th to February 10th, 2017. In addition to selling store-exclusive items in advance, the store will also offer hard-to-find classic posters and new merchandise.
