Palace Hotel Tokyo's pastry shop, Sweets & Deli, will be selling seven Valentine's Day exclusive sweets from February 1st to 14th, 2017. They'll also be offering a Valentine's Day accommodation plan with a limited number of rooms. "Cigare" (3,000 yen) is a set of cigar-shaped chocolates made from dark chocolate and rice puffs, along with white chocolate shaped like cigar matches. It's a playful masterpiece, even replicating the texture of tobacco leaves, just like a real cigar. "Chapeau" (4,000 yen) is a chocolate presented in a bright red top hat box. It captures the mellow flavor of the hotel's original Junmai Ginjo sake, "Ichi no Ichi no Ichi." "Levre" (1,000 yen) is a vibrant crimson lip-shaped bonbon chocolate, filled with fragrant champagne in chocolate ganache. Also available are "Moustache" (2,500 yen), modeled after a cute gentleman's face, and "Superieur" (5,000 yen), an assortment of nine types of bonbon chocolates carefully selected by the hotel's chocolatier. Other items on sale include "Tablette de chocolat" (1,300 yen), which is carefully selected chocolate topped with berries and nuts, and "Robe de chocolat" (500 yen), which is several types of chocolate dipped in strawberries. Other items on sale include the heart-shaped "Kouign Aman Coeur" (259 yen including tax) and the espresso-flavored "Kouign Aman Coeur Express" (259 yen including tax).
In addition, as a Valentine's Day-only accommodation plan, a special plan called "Be My Valentine" will be offered, with a limited number of rooms available, where you can enjoy an original bonbon chocolate set carefully selected by a chocolatier in your room along with the exquisite champagne "Krug Grande Cuvée." Prices start from 145,000 yen for the Club Grand Deluxe, 165,000 yen for the Executive Suite, and 285,000 yen for the Terrace/Park Suite. All rates are for one night for two people, and include service and consumption tax, but accommodation tax is separate.
