
From December 1st to February 28th, 2017, Palace Hotel Tokyo will be offering limited-edition winter sweets, breads, and cocktails perfect for the holiday season. The pastry shop, Sweets & Deli, offers sweets and breads perfect for home parties or as gifts. Sweets include "Souvenir" (648 yen, tax included), a layered cheesecake mousse made with ripe strawberries and condensed milk, and "Mystique" (648 yen, tax included), a fragrant yuzu and black tea chiboust. Other items include "Cassis Orange" (648 yen, tax included), a cake inspired by cassis oranges; "Harmonie" (648 yen, tax included), a pistachio and vanilla cake; "Choux à la Pomme" (594 yen, tax included), a choux pastry sandwich filled with Calvados-flavored cream and sautéed rinds; and "Tonka" (648 yen, tax included), a chocolate cake mixed with coffee-flavored caramel. Bread options include the "Smoked Salmon and Potato Focaccia" (410 yen, tax included), which is filled with a variety of ingredients such as smoked salmon, potato, and spinach, and the fragrant "Caffe Banane" (324 yen, tax included), topped with a slightly sweet banana filling. Other items on offer include the "Chocolat Baguette" (378 yen, tax included), which is filled with nuts, dried fruit, and chocolate chips, and the fragrant "Tarte Flambée" (378 yen, tax included), topped with Brussels sprouts and mushrooms. Additionally, the Royal Bar will offer cocktails (2,300 yen, tax included, service charge not included) to brighten up a glamorous winter evening. Two types are available: the classic "Fresh Leonardo," which combines fresh strawberries and champagne, and the "Jack Rose," which offers an exquisite harmony of sweet and sour pomegranate and apple brandy. Lounge Bar Privé will also be introducing cocktails (tax and service charge not included, 2,400 yen each) that are variations on mojitos and mimosas. Two types are available: the "Floral Mimosa," a mimosa in Privé's floral style, and the "Yuzu Mojito," which uses yuzu for a Japanese touch.
