Chloé presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, "ENTRE DEUX." The setting was a conference room at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The presentation, held in a venue where people from around the world gathered to discuss "dialogue" and "freedom," was a choice symbolizing the collection's theme, which reconsiders the relationship between high fashion and everyday life.
Chloé founder Gabi Aghion once said, "Couture is beautiful, but city women should have city clothes." While carrying on that spirit, this season the brand has boldly embarked on the paradoxical challenge of "bringing couture techniques down into everyday life."

ENTRE DEUX──Silhouettes born from what is “in between”
The title, Entre Deux, refers to the space between two things, or the distance that seems to touch but does not. This season's Chloé's clothes are not fixed in structure, but feature “wavering forms” in which fabrics slide, cling, and shift over the body. Shemina Kamali's designs are said to begin with the draping process rather than the pattern, and the clothes are not completed from the start, but rather their shape emerges as they are worn.

"Lightweight couture"—a term reminiscent of Gabi Aghion's words
In the 1950s, Chloé was known for its "lightweight couture." While honing its historical roots, the brand applied couture-like handwork to everyday fabrics like poplin, cotton, and sheer layering. The result: clothes that feel "empty rather than finished." Rather than restricting the body, garments change shape with the wind or your stride, creating an "elegance built on movement."

Couture brought into the everyday, fashion discussed in a public space
The presentation in the highly public venue of the UNESCO conference room reflected Chloé's commitment to presenting clothes that reach into people's lives, rather than fashion for a privileged audience. "The craftsmanship of couture" and "the freedom of ready-to-wear." Standing in the gap between these two values, known as Entre Deux, Chloé is now attempting to portray a new elegance for women living in the city.
