Casio Computer Co., Ltd. will release the EFS-560HR, a collaboration model with Honda Racing, on October 9th as a new addition to its "EDIFICE" line of high-performance metal watches based on the concept of "Speed and Intelligence."

"Honda Racing" is the collective term for the motorsports activities conducted by Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Honda") around the world. Honda Racing has also attracted attention for supplying power units to the Scuderia AlphaTauri Formula One team, which the company supports. Honda Racing and EDIFICE began collaborating in 2018, reflecting their shared commitment to utilizing advanced technology and taking on global challenges with pride as Japanese brands. The EFS-560HR, the fourth collaboration model, features a design motif inspired by the iconic race track, reflecting the shared values of Honda, which applies technology cultivated through racing to the development of production vehicles, and EDIFICE, which similarly develops watch technology through consultations with racing teams. The dial features a special finish that resembles the asphalt of a road surface, and the dial circumference and inset dials feature red accents reminiscent of the curbs of a race track, resulting in a unique design.

The bezel is made of carbon fiber, a material highly compatible with motorsports. Designed to withstand the rigors of professional mechanics, the band is made of CORDURA® fabric with Kevlar® fiber inserts. The crystal is made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and the watch is solar-powered for added practicality. The "Honda Racing" logo is engraved throughout the dial, band, and case back.
