Costume National's new line debuts, with special performance by Oku Hidetaro

Mar 29, 2014

Costume National's new line, Costume and Costume, will debut in the 2014-15 Autumn/Winter season.
Costume and Costume offers a selection of items centered around contemporary and casual designs, primarily targeting people in their 20s and 30s. It offers both men's and women's wear. In Japan, it will be sold at directly managed stores and other locations.
To commemorate the launch of the brand, a reception event was held at the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art in Shinagawa, Tokyo on March 27th. Film director Hidetaro Oku presented a special performance using projection mapping. After the rain, the brand logo and a lit runway appeared in the museum's courtyard, creating a fantastical atmosphere as performers appeared wearing the 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection.
Costume National's second line, C'N'C, will be discontinued with the launch of Costume and Costume.
