Mar 29, 2014

"Fashion World Tokyo 2014 [Spring]," Japan's largest fashion trade fair, hosted by Reed Exhibitions Japan, will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 2nd to April 4th.
The venue will be divided into three exhibitions: apparel, bags, and shoes. Approximately 260 companies from Japan and abroad will be showcasing the latest fashion products, focusing on 2014 Autumn/Winter items. A wide variety of apparel companies will be exhibiting, from high-end brands like the popular French brand "SKIN VALLEY" and the bag brand "Lili Radu," which was nominated in a young designer contest hosted by fashion magazine Vogue, to brands that evoke the "Cool Japan" vibe, such as "WOR," which makes pop backpacks with cat ear hoods, and "aria Aqua fairy," a Kobe-based handmade shoe brand that uses artisanal techniques.
In addition, starting at 10:00 a.m. on the first day of the event, keynote speeches will be given by Taiyo Onishi, president and CEO of Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings, and Toshio Kawasaki, president and CEO of Laforet Harajuku. They will discuss fashion and their respective companies' outlooks.

Entry is limited to industry professionals only and not open to the general public.
