
"EN," an exhibition showcasing collaborative items between Japanese technology and creators, will be held from March 18th to 20th at "8/," a creative space on the 8th floor of Shibuya Hikarie.
The event will feature 14 lifestyle items that have been infused with new value by creators with deep ties to Japanese artisanal techniques and development technology and the fashion industry, including indigo-dyed leather products from Tokushima Prefecture, Edo Kiriko glass, and stationery made by artisans in Asakusa. The space direction was handled by Tanijiri Makoto + Hasegawa Naoko (HIILO), with Sho Toyama (matic) also participating as space planner. Exhibitors include M.SCOOP/Mimatsu Kogei (Saga) x plantica, Kaihara (Fukuyama) x iTADAKi, Kazan (Arita) x L, KINUYA (Tokushima) x F, Sashimono Masuda (Sumida Ward) x SyuRo, SIWA | Kamiwa (Yamanashi) x JOINTRUST, Soejima Isao Shoten (Okawa) x FUGAHUM, Takeyari (Kurashiki) x THE UNION, Hand-dyed Hisayama Dyeing (Kyoto) x PLASTICTOKYO, Tokyo LIFE/Life (Tokyo) x archi, Nakaden Keori (Oshu) x ARTYZ, Horiguchi Kiriko (Koto Ward) x HAN AHN SOON, MARUITEX/Marui Orimono (Noto) x RESISTANT, and 000/Kasamori (Kiryu) x JUN OKAMOTO. The event is being held as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo, which started on the 17th.
