As a special event celebrating the first anniversary of its remodel, Isetan Shinjuku is collaborating with SPUR, a magazine celebrating its 25th anniversary, to host the "SPUR 25th ANNIVERSARY ISETAN LOVE MODE Tour." The event runs until the 11th. Based on the concept of "shopping is a journey," the event showcases limited-edition items and spring/summer fashion across floors. Five tours are available, including a tour featuring items in the theme color "pink" and a tea break at the building's luxurious cafe, Le Salon Jacques Borie, on the fourth floor. Advance registration exceeded capacity, so a lottery was held. The "SPUR TOUR" tour desk is located on the second floor of the main building, Center Park/Stage #2, and features collaboration items with Darth Vader and san, a picture book based on a spinoff story from the Star Wars film. The collaboration will feature unisex items such as Fire-King mugs and AMERICANA zip-up hoodies.
During the event, the cafe in the main building will also be offering a limited-time menu. The bar counter "The Stand" on the second floor will be serving coffee sets with chocolate from Max Brenner, which launched in Japan last year, while the bistro "Ladies & Gentlemen" on the third floor will be serving hamburgers made with aged salted beef. Rose Bakery, also on the third floor, will be serving fruit cake colored pink with raspberries and cupcakes topped with buttercream mixed with jam.
Beauty Apothecary on the second basement floor of the same building will be offering anniversary celebration items, including travel kits themed on fashionable travel, featuring cosmetics in specially designed pouches from six Tokyo brands, including Muveil, Beautiful People, and Ludlow.
