The SAZABY LEAGUE has acquired exclusive distribution rights in Japan for the American luxury interior brand RACHEL ASHWELL SHABBY CHIC Couture. Founded in California in August 1989 by founder Rachel Ashwell, RACHEL ASHWELL SHABBY CHIC Couture currently operates five stores in Santa Monica, New York, London, and elsewhere. From large furniture to linens, the brand offers a classic yet beautiful, high-quality texture and high functionality. Based on the concept of "imperfection," featuring worn, scratched shelves and tables, and chairs with peeling paint, the brand embodies the "SHABBY CHIC" atmosphere embodied in its name. The brand's distinctive color palette includes pure white, pale pink, blue, and green. Its style is beloved by celebrities and discerning fashionistas worldwide.
The store stocks everything from furniture to linens and body care products, with prices ranging from 400,000 to 600,000 yen for beds, 800,000 to 2.1 million yen for sofas, 300,000 to 1 million yen for vintage furniture, 30,000 to 60,000 yen for curtains, 10,000 to 50,000 yen for linens, and tableware from 3,000 to 20,000 yen.
The brand made its Japanese debut at the Ron Herman Futako Tamagawa store, which reopened on March 8th in the new Ivy's Place building of Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C., and is scheduled to open its first flagship store in Japan in Sendagaya, Tokyo in early summer this year.
