Accessory brand Q-pot. has collaborated with Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel Club Resort to create a "Sweet Room," an executive suite filled with sweet designs. The project was produced by Q-pot. designer Tadaaki Wakamatsu. The concept was "Transforming a Suiteroom into a Sweetroom." The room features a chocolate-covered "Bitter Chocolate Living Room." Behind it is the "Whipped & Strawberry Bedroom," complete with a bed made of decorated cake. Other amenities include a drink bar serving tea and chocolate from Q-pot. Cafe, and a "Chocolate TV" created in collaboration with Sharp. The fantastical, "wacky" space unfolds. Stays begin March 14, 2014, with reservations opening March 8. The accommodation fee is 98,100 yen per room for two adults (up to 6th grade of elementary school students can sleep in the same bed as one other person), 118,100 yen on Saturdays and days before holidays, and 138,100 yen on certain days (all prices include service charges, excluding tax).
