Jan 10, 2014

SAZABY LEAGUE will open "SHIRTS PUB," the world's first flagship store for Frank & Eileen, in early May. The store is located at 2-28-4 Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. It's located across from the Ron Herman Sendagaya store. The 60.39-square-meter store is inspired by Irish pubs, a popular gathering place for people of all ages in Ireland. The store will carry classic shirts for men and women, as well as denim, knitwear, scarves, swimwear, and original jewelry. To commemorate the opening, the store will release a new women's shirt with a boxy silhouette, "Eileen." It comes in white and light blue and costs ¥24,150. A shirt commemorating the brand's fifth anniversary is also available. Available in both men's and women's sizes, it features a blue and white striped fabric accented with a heart. Prices are 29,400 yen for men and 26,250 yen for women.

Frank & Eileen is a brand that was founded in Los Angeles in 2009. The brand name comes from designer Audrey Mcloghlin's grandfather Frank and grandmother Eileen, and the "1947" written on the tag is the year her grandparents were married. Audrey, who studied architecture, considered human structure and movement, and created shirts that pursued the most beautiful silhouette and comfort, making them a staple item. The "BARRY" shirt, with a relaxed style and the first button starting where the third button usually is, is an icon for women.
