A Big Bang clad in camouflage
A timeless style that transcends preconceived notions and time – Yohji Yamamoto has been proposing this for 50 years. Like the monochrome used in the Big Bang GMT All Black Yohji Yamamoto, the first collaboration model between Hublot and Yohji Yamamoto, Yohji Yamamoto's signature textiles and bold approach to motifs define the elegance of the Big Bang Camo Yohji Yamamoto. This camouflage timepiece exudes a gritty atmosphere, like deciphering a code that exists somewhere between paradox and homage.

"Like Hublot, Yohji Yamamoto constantly questions traditional fashion conventions and creates his own creations. The unique character of his creations, combined with the use of unexpected materials not typically used in fashion, makes him a pioneer in this field."

This stance is closely aligned with the philosophy behind Hublot's watch creations. The Big Bang he designed for Hublot reflects this shared motto. He uses a camouflage motif, overlaid on a sapphire dial, to create a unique look. The strap features a camouflage motif created using a vulcanization process, which Hublot first introduced to the watch industry in 2019.
Ricardo Guadalupe
CEO of Hublot

"I am strongly attracted to pioneering approaches, in the sense of expressing things from a perspective that deviates slightly from conventional values. I weave messages that I feel at the moment into each of my collections. It is a way to get people to question what already exists, and this is very important to me."

The camouflage motif rubber strap features individual patterns that are individually cut and assembled before being applied to the strap using a vulcanization process. This is the latest technology in the watch industry, and Hublot was the first brand to use this process in the manufacture of straps. The included strap is made of black fabric. The watch is powered by Hublot's in-house "Unico" movement, which has a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
