These Made in Japan parasols are made by Komiya Shoten, a long-established shop in Higashi-Nihonbashi founded in 1930. The tension of the fabric and the stitching are carefully adjusted one by one, with the aim of achieving a beautiful long umbrella-like form when unfolded, and each and every step is carefully crafted by hand. The ferrule and handle ring are made of signature brass, and the surface is finished with a heavy and elegant black nickel, making this a piece that has been carefully crafted.
