Sanyo Shokai has signed a licensing agreement with the UK-based Mackintosh Limited for the production and sale of Mackintosh's authentic complete collection, "Mackintosh London." Sanyo Shokai will begin developing the brand for both men and women, aiming to launch it in department store ready-to-wear zones and directly managed stores nationwide from the Fall/Winter 2015 season. Building on Mackintosh's manufacturing tradition of handcrafting rubberized coats by Scottish artisans, Mackintosh London offers a complete collection that embodies the brand's unique worldview, from clothing to accessories, aimed at discerning adults. The launch of Mackintosh London is expected to create synergy with the existing diffusion line, "Mackintosh Philosophy," further expanding the Mackintosh brand's reach.
