The Japan-exclusive campaign features Aoi Yamada, the face of the brand's Summer 2022 collection, and was shot in Shibuya, with a focus on fashion and music. Craftsmanship-focused details connect the brand's rock 'n' roll roots with a new generation of changemakers.

"Gen F" is a collection celebrating the friendship, free-spiritedness, and fun of young people. Aoi Yamada is a Japanese dancer, model, and actress who draws inspiration from Expressionism and Butoh movement, and represents the next generation of creatives, having performed at the Closing Ceremony of the 2020 Summer Olympics. In the campaign visuals, Aoi Yamada wears ready-to-wear pieces from the Stella McCartney Autumn 2025 Collection, themed "Rock Royalty," in the Japan-exclusive colorway of Stella McCartney x adidas Black Lacquered.

A timeless staple among celebrities and fashion trendsetters, the vegan luxury Falabella bag is individually handcrafted using pioneering innovations and cruelty-free alternative materials. Initially introduced in 2009, this iconic Stella McCartney bag redefined convention and set a new standard of luxury by eliminating animal leather yet boasting the same meticulous craftsmanship, quality, and durability as its animal-based counterparts.
Having grown up alongside Falabella, Gen F shares Stella McCartney's sustainable values and vision for kinder, cleaner, and more mindful practices.

The fashion industry is responsible for the human toll, with over one billion animals killed each year for leather production (PETA) and 90% of Bangladeshi tannery workers dying by the age of 50 (The Guardian). Falabella is produced without the sacrifice of any animals and is entirely vegan, even using vegan materials for its adhesives.

Falabella bags are crafted by Italian leather artisans retrained by Stella McCartney for her pioneering work with vegan alternative materials. Each bag is handcrafted and reimagined each season using industry-changing technologies, including regeneration, recycling, circularity and low-impact techniques. The instantly recognizable design blends opposing elements: masculine and feminine, hard and soft. Every Falabella bag features a monogrammed lining made from ocean plastic and hand-woven with organic cotton rope in a process that takes more than three hours.

The Falabella story is also Stella's, who, since its founding in 2001, became the first luxury fashion house to completely avoid using leather, feathers, fur, or exotic skins. Her love of animals is inspired by her upbringing as the daughter of animal rights activists and vegetarians Paul and Linda McCartney. Growing up on the moors of Scotland and organic farms in Sussex, riding horses in the great outdoors is one of Stella McCartney's most treasured memories from her formative years. Horses continue to provide her with emotional support and healing. The name "Falabella" is inspired by Stella McCartney's favorite breed of pony. The "Generation Falabella" capsule collection will be available in Stella McCartney boutiques worldwide and on stellamccartney.com from May 15, 2025.
