Junichi Abe's kolor held its Spring/Summer 2017 collection show in the Paris School of Medicine hall on June 23rd. Using a variety of technical fabrics, including shrunken checks with nuanced details and glossy folkloric prints, the collection featured relaxed silhouettes, creating a relaxed mood throughout. Jackets and shirts were oversized with dropped shoulders and paired with sarouel-style or single-pleat pants for a relaxed look. Other eye-catching pieces included a coat with an asymmetrical shape thanks to a side belt and a kimono-style cardigan with the same fastening system. Another defining feature of this season's collection was the abundance of distinctive pieces, including a knit gilet with a graphic weave, a knit pullover with see-through details that resembled folklore tape, bombers with gathered shoulders for added volume, and a jacquard coat with a crocodile-like motif.

Although the playful use of color was still present, with neon colors on the collar, gold sequins on the hem, and tulle material on the bottom of the shorts, the look was subtly balanced.
