The popular event "Snoopy in Ginza 2016," now in its 18th year, will be held from July 27th to August 11th at the event venue on the 7th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi.

The event is themed around "Tasty Experiences of Japan," and features a variety of original Ginza Mitsukoshi merchandise featuring 12 original artworks created specifically for the occasion. In the illustrations, Snoopy and his fun-loving friends discover delicious Japanese foods through work experiences in the seafood, agriculture, and livestock industries. The lineup of items includes "CUBE Rice" (756 yen including tax), a pack of "Hatsushimo" rice produced in Gifu Prefecture, "Yagenbori Shichimi - Special Container" (1,458 yen including tax), a shichimi pepper specially blended for the event, "Palomitas Popcorn" (1,383 yen including tax) which comes in a variety of flavors related to each art, "Mobile Battery" (4,320 yen including tax) for smartphones that you can take with you when you're out and about, and the popular "FriXion Ball" (972 yen including tax).

Other items include the simple "Kyoto Fan" (2,484 yen including tax), which is suitable for men as well, and comes in two types: a purple type casually decorated with Snoopy's brothers enjoying strawberry picking, and a black and white type featuring the brothers making dried fish. The "Soy Sauce Condiment 3-Bottle Set" (2,592 yen including tax, individual items 864 yen each including tax) includes three bottles: "Ichiban Shibori Soy Sauce" featuring Snoopy on a soy sauce-making experience, "Egg-On Soy Sauce" featuring a cute Snoopy planting rice, and "Mentsuyu" featuring Snoopy enjoying smelt fishing.
