Ginza Mitsukoshi will be holding "SNOOPY in Ginza 2014," featuring the latest and classic Snoopy merchandise, from July 30 to August 12 at the store's 8th floor event venue. This event, which began in 1999 and is now in its 16th year, will feature original Ginza Mitsukoshi merchandise themed around "The Flowering Tales of Edo." Over 30 original merchandise items will be available, featuring a wide variety of scenes depicting Snoopy and his friends dressed as Edo merchants and townspeople, including Echigoya, firemen, carpenters, palanquin carriers, and couriers, blending into various scenes of Edo. This time, Snoopy will collaborate with "Sumida Modern," a brand established as part of the regional branding strategy for Sumida Ward, a town known for its craftsmanship that preserves traditional culture and the birthplace of Edo commoner culture, where skilled craftsmanship continues to live on. Ninomiya Goro Shoten, a long-established leather goods maker for over 60 years, has engraved Snoopy illustrations on its coin cases and card cases. Iwasawa Glass, founded in 1951, has maintained the same shape, materials, and techniques since its launch, using its outstanding craftsmanship to create a drip-proof Edomae soy sauce dispenser, featuring kimono-clad Peanuts characters. A collaboration with Kyoto-based washi paper goods maker Wagami Koji will introduce a luxurious hand-dyed yuzen series featuring gold prints, including yuzen paper fans, yuzen paper gift envelopes, and yuzen paper-pasted boxes. Also, to celebrate Snoopy's birthday on August 10, limited-time items will be available, including Snoopy by Grand Fool's Snoopy Shortcake and Express S Tokyo Osuya Ginza's Happy Birthday Sour Rare Cheesecake (approx. 12cm) branded with "HAPPY BIRTHDAY." For three days, August 2nd, 7th, and 10th, Snoopy will be visiting the Ginza Terrace/Terrace Court on the 9th floor of the store, and a photo session will also be held (12, 2, and 4pm each day, for approximately 30 minutes each).

In addition, from 10am on August 13th to 10am on August 29th, the Mitsukoshi online store will be selling some of the products that were sold in the store. Customers who make purchases online will receive a special Snoopy sticker exclusive to the web. (Limited to the first 500 people, one per order)
