The popular event, "Snoopy in Ginza 2015," is celebrating its 17th anniversary this year and will be held from July 29th to August 11th at the Ginza Mitsukoshi 8th floor event hall.

This year's theme, celebrating the 65th anniversary of "PEANUTS," is "1950s America," the birthplace of Peanuts. For the event, Snoopy and his merry friends travel back in time to 1950s America. Twelve original artworks depicting them enjoying good old American culture are displayed at the venue.

The main artwork depicts a diner, a symbol of 1950s America. Photographs and interior decorating the interior evoke the atmosphere of the time. The framed depictions of Snoopy and his friends combine nostalgic vintage art with modern classic art.

Items featuring these artworks will be on sale during the event. Items include a stacking mug (4,644 yen, tax included) in collaboration with Fire King, a leading American tableware brand; a Snoopy plush toy wearing a bowling shirt (4,061 yen, tax included); a T-shirt featuring the Peanuts gang enjoying the iconic rockabilly of the 1950s (3,564 yen, tax included); and a denim tote bag (1,620 yen, tax included), a symbol of the 1950s. Other items include a QBG Snoopy Cake (3,001 yen, tax included) from Patisserie QBG, a Western-style pastry shop run by a honey and maple syrup specialist, and Snoopy Bread (648 yen, tax included) from JOHAN. In addition to the classic chocolate flavor, a caramel banana flavor will be available this year. Similarly, JOHAN's Woodstock Bread (432 yen, tax included) will be available in chocolate and honey lemon cream flavors.

Also noteworthy are the limited edition donuts (starting from 361 yen including tax) featuring Snoopy and his friends, which debuted last year and quickly sold out, and the Snoopy Label Drinking Vinegar Dessert Vinegar (2,160 yen including tax), which contains three types of Snoopy-labeled dessert vinegar (mango, pineapple, and passion fruit).

In addition, Snoopy will be visiting the store's 9th floor Ginza Terrace/Terrace Court for an event where you can take photos with him (August 1st, 5th, and 8th, from noon, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm each day, approximately 30 minutes each).
