To celebrate the 65th anniversary of the birth of Peanuts, the second pop-up store by SPECIAL PRODUCT DESIGN, "PEANUT meets SPECIAL PRODUCT DESIGN," will be held from June 8th to 14th at Center Park/The Stage #5 on the 5th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.
This time, Peanuts will once again collaborate with various brands, and a variety of limited-edition items will be released, including notable items commemorating the 65th anniversary and original Mitsukoshi Isetan items. Of particular note is the re-release of the LACOSTE polo shirt (men's 14,000 yen, women's 13,000 yen), which was a huge hit at the first pop-up store. This time, it will be available in two types, featuring a white base with the brand's iconic crocodile and a single embroidery of Peanuts characters Snoopy and Charlie playing on the left chest.
This is the first collaboration between petite robe noire and Snoopy, and they are releasing a playful bracelet (4 designs, 3,700 yen each) with a playing card motif and Snoopy showing off various expressions. Other items include glass manufacturer Duralex's signature Picardie glass (1,200 yen) in white with a character silhouette, BONTON's classic paper suitcases in three sizes (S 3,500 yen, M 4,000 yen, L 4,500 yen), a Le Minor striped cut-and-sew (14,000 yen), and Mitsukoshi Isetan's original tote bag (3,500 yen) and mug (2,500 yen). All of these items are in limited quantities.
After the pop-up store closes at Isetan Shinjuku, it is scheduled to travel to Isetan Closet on the 4th floor of Lucua Osaka Lucua 1100 from June 15th to 28th, and to a special venue on the 5th floor of JR Kyoto Isetan from June 22nd to 28th. Some items will also be available for purchase at the Isetan online store and the Special Product Design web shop.
