The pieces being released this time are part of the seasonal collection, but have also been designed as an independent chapter. They quietly cater to occasions that demand elegance in attire, such as ceremonies and business, while expressing the brand's unchanging philosophy of creating clothing that can be worn in everyday life, with the brand's signature fabric, triacetate, taking center stage.

This material combines light stretch and easy care with a subtle luster and rich volume like silk, making it perfect for beautifully crafting tailoring pieces and dresses that require precise cutting. When combined with the intricate lace and embroidery that underlie Mame Kurogouchi's aesthetic, it suits a wide range of occasions, from the airport to the dinner table, and expands the contours of everyday wear.

This season features two iconic types of embroidery. Tulle embroidered in Ishikawa Prefecture covers the body of tops and adorns the arms of dresses, with vibrant flowers blooming across the skin, like a carpet of springtime memories. Meanwhile, embroidered parts from Gunma Prefecture adorn the cuffs and collars of other dresses and tops. After embroidery is applied onto water-soluble paper, artisans melt the paper one by one by hand to create botanical motifs. The pieces are adorned with a vocabulary of understated elegance, and can be worn for a variety of occasions with both splendor and modesty.
