Mame Kurogouchi's 2025 Spring/Summer collection, "Katachi," will be on display at Mame Kurogouchi Aoyama from May 21 to June 16, 2025.

This exhibition was first presented to the media in conjunction with a runway show held at OGATA Paris in Paris, France in September 2024, and then toured VAGUE KOBE. Kurogouchi has reconstructed the contents of the exhibition for Mame Kurogouchi Aoyama.

Turning its attention to the simplest material element, "shape," this season's collection is inspired by the diverse forms of everyday objects. Excerpts from the books and diaries that served as the starting point for the creations, as well as found objects such as blacked-out Polaroid photographs and pebbles, are on display in Mame Kurogouchi Aoyama's glass gallery. Connected to this season's clothing, which coexists in the same space, these exhibits allow visitors to relive the long journey of creating the collection.

In addition, to commemorate the opening of this exhibition, the embroidered silk scarf that was featured in several looks on the runway will be sold at Mame Kurogouchi Aoyama and the Mame Kurogouchi Online Store, while glass jewellery will be sold exclusively at the Mame Kurogouchi Online Store. The scarf, made from sheer silk organza and embroidered with Mame Kurogouchi's signature delicate floral pattern, has a minimalist impression with its tone-on-tone delicate floral embroidery, while also offering a light and rich texture.

The glass jewelry, which includes earrings, chokers, and necklaces, is inspired by the shapes of ice floating in rivers after melting snow, and each piece is hand-molded by an artisan. The light designs made from hollow glass are accented with brown and gold color schemes reminiscent of lacquerware patterns.
