"Taiyo no Marche," Japan's largest urban market where you can eat, shop, learn, and experience, will be held on July 9th and 10th at Tsukishima Dai-ni Children's Park in Kachidoki, Tokyo.
Held on the second Saturday and Sunday of every month at Tsukishima Dai-ni Children's Park, the market is always a huge success, with approximately 100 stalls and approximately 20,000 visitors.
Under the theme of "Summer Enjoying Craft Beer" in July, the market will offer a variety of high-quality artisanal beers. The lineup includes a rich and creamy premium lager beer from Greece's oldest beer brand, "FIX HELLAS LAGER," and "VOLKAN," a beer made with rare Santorini honey and featuring a sharp finish and subtle sweetness from a long-established winery in Santorini that has been in business for five generations. Additionally, Shinanoya, offering a rich, delicious, and healthy diet, will be offering a wide selection of carefully selected craft beers from Japan and abroad. One of the highlights is BrewDog, a Scottish microbrewery known as the "hop magician." This supreme masterpiece uses more than 40 times the amount of hops as a typical lager, disregarding profitability. Ryuhyo Draft, known for its low-malt beer made with ingredients like scallops and milk, will be selling a hit product called "Blue Beer." Smokehouse Hirokobo, known for its smoked food products made with a variety of ingredients, will also be offering a selection of snacks to enhance the flavor of craft beer. Smoked cheeses like "Black Pepper" and "Jalapeño Garlic" will be available, along with the event-exclusive "Smoked Blue Cheese," as well as "Smoked Persimmon Seeds," a creation created in response to requests from event attendees, and low-calorie "Smoked Mozzarella" made with low-fat milk. Other items on offer include dried mullet roe from MARCOMAR JAPON and nuts from snaq.me.

The food truck area will feature Tokyo Beer Porter, a popular mobile craft beer vendor selling draft beer. Far Yeast Brewing Company, which has been promoting Japan's first original beer, including the award-winning FAR YEAST Tokyo White, will also be making its first appearance at the Marche.

In addition, the internet radio program "Sora to ni wa Ginza," broadcast at Matsuya Ginza, will also be appearing at the "Taiyo no Marche." This time, the program will feature a variety of guests and will focus on the yukata, an essential item for stylish wear at events such as fireworks displays. On July 9th, Matsuya Ginza's information program "Matsuya Ginza Sorato Niwa Station" and actress Yoko Motai, best known for her role as Abe Yu in the hugely popular radio drama "Ah, Abe Reiji," will broadcast a three-hour live original special program just for this day on July 10th.

In addition, ANA and Kimotsuki Town in Kimotsuki County, Kagoshima Prefecture, home to the JAXA Uchino Space Observatory, one of only two rocket launch sites in Japan, will jointly set up a "Space & Aviation School" booth. With the cooperation of JAXA staff, workshops will be held where parents and children can learn about space and aviation, including making paper crafts of the "Epsilon Rocket" and "ERG Satellite," both scheduled for launch this year, and participating in participatory quizzes.
