An exhibition of works by Chihiro Hasunuma, knitwear creator of the hand-knit brand an/eddy, titled "In my head," will be held from July 29th to August 3rd at Gallery ROCKET on the third floor of the Dojunkan building in Omotesando Hills.
After graduating from Bunka Fashion College's Knitwear Design Department in 2008, Chihiro Hasunuma began working as a designer for a major apparel manufacturer. She left the company in 2011 and fully launched the hand-knit brand an/eddy, which she began as a student. She has also engaged in a wide range of activities, including teaching part-time at a vocational school, writing knitting books, and hosting workshops. She also participated in the Tokyo Collection in 2014. She has also designed costumes for numerous artists, including CHARA and miwa.
The exhibition will create a space reminiscent of brain cells, showcasing "inside Chihiro Hasunuma's mind." Memories from an/eddy's 2014 series "Flowers and Caviar" to her latest series, "Rotating Colored Light," will be on display. In addition, background music remixed from the everyday sounds and thoughts that Chihiro Hasunuma hears in her head will be played, auditorily transporting visitors into her mind as well.

In addition, rare works that are no longer available for purchase will be re-released, as well as popular collaboration items with nakamuracoubou and mellow. Over the two days of August 1st and 2nd, there will also be an installation featuring artists who participated in the "extension" series released in the winter of 2015, including Maiko Sato of Kilico., Kazuma Shimazu of CODE+LIM, Koji Suzuki of vetica, and Miki Kudo of boy camera.
