Pacific DRIVE-IN, the drive-in cafe with the most spectacular views closest to the ocean in Shichirigahama, will be reopening its "Picture Book Sea House," which was a huge hit last year, from August 6th to September 25th.
"Picture Book Sea House" is a trailer house filled with picture books. You can enjoy around 200 picture books with a "sea" theme on the oceanfront, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Enoshima and Mt. Fuji, and the books are also available for rental on weekends.
This time, they will be offering a variety of famous picture books, including the classic "Swimmy" by Leo Lionni, "Gurigura's Swimming Adventure" from the long-selling "Gurigura" series, and "Beyond the Sea" by Taro Gomi. Also on display will be picture books such as "Aquatic Creatures" by Lambaros Jah, which is printed on handmade paper by skilled artisans in a workshop in India and carefully handcrafted one by one, and "Océano, Out to Sea!" by Anouk Boisrobert and Louis Rigaud, which is made with respect for nature and features beautiful illustrations and fun mechanisms. There will also be an illustrated encyclopedia of marine life and a photo book, making this an event that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
