The first H&M in the Chugoku region will open in Hiroshima this fall

Apr 12, 2013

H&M will be making its first foray into the Chugoku region. This fall, it will open a street-level store in Hiroshima City (7-6 Horikawa-cho, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City). It will be located in a shopping area crowded with Tenmaya, Mitsukoshi, Parco, and other stores.

The sales floor will be approximately 2,000 square meters and will be spread over six floors. In addition to women's and men's items, the store will also carry the "Divided" street casual fashion line for young people.

Since opening its first store in Japan in Ginza in 2008, H&M has been expanding its store network throughout Japan. This April, it will open new stores in Shizuoka, Shinsaibashi, Kobe, and Umeda. As a result, the current Ebisubashi No. 2 store will relocate to Shinsaibashi. H&M-affiliated brands "Monki" and "Weekday" will open in the new location in June.
