H&M, which already has two stores in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, will open a new store in Umeda (formerly Hankyu Department Store Ings Building) on April 13th, a new store in Kobe on the 18th, and a new store in Shinsaibashi (on the former site of Shinsaibashi Parco) on the 19th.
The Shinsaibashi store boasts one of the largest sales floor spaces in Japan, spanning five floors from the basement to the fourth floor, at approximately 3,000 square meters. In addition to the women's, men's, and youth lines previously available at the Osaka store, the store will also offer a full lineup of children's, mother's, and lingerie collections, making it the Osaka flagship store.
The Kobe store, which will be H&M's first store, will be located within the Kobe Harborland umie shopping complex, which will undergo a major redesign and reopen on April 18th. Targeting families in their 30s, the store will also feature international fast fashion brands such as American brand Old Navy and Spanish brand Zara.
