Chloé celebrates its 60th anniversary with the return of Stella, Phoebe and Karl collections

Apr 12, 2013

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Chloé's founding, an event looking back on the brand's history, "60 Years of Chloé," will be held from April 17th to April 23rd at The Stage on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku.

Sixteen iconic items created by founder Gaby Aghion, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, and Hannah MacGibbon will be specially reissued. An exclusive color of the "Alice" bag by creative director Clare Waight Keller will also be available at Isetan Shinjuku.

The brand was founded in 1952 by Aghion, who was born in Alexandria, Egypt, and moved to Paris after the war. Her collections are presented in Paris. Since June 2011, Clare Waight Keller, who has built her career at Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Gucci, and Pringle of Scotland, has served as creative director.

In addition, to coincide with the event, Chloe's past works are also on display in the store's windows. The collection is scheduled to go on sale at Chloe's directly managed stores in Aoyama, Nagoya, and Hankyu Umeda Main Store on April 24th.
