Chloé's 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection was unveiled in Paris. Clare Waight Keller has been the designer since 2011. The show took place in a special tent in the sun-drenched Jardin des Tuileries. Clare cited "night bus," "independence," "freezing night," and "tough girl" as key words to describe the collection. The color palette featured chic tones of blue, black, and gray, with white and beige adding a feminine touch. Wool felt cape-style coats, pea coats, fitted skirts, and white shirts were reminiscent of school uniforms. Wide-leg pants and jogging-style pants were also featured. Zip-up parka coats and bold striped patterns added a sporty touch. A coquettish little black dress layered with lace and a shirt dress with large ruffles evoked the image of a pure-hearted girl. A top made of jeweled chains is layered over simple items, suggesting an outfit that enjoys a modern mismatched feel. The sweetness of a romantic tiered skirt layered with polka dot lace is tightened up with a tailored jacket and a wide-sleeved black top. Accessories also include a book-shaped clutch bag, a shoulder bag with a thick strap, and lace-up loafers, giving the look a schoolgirl vibe. Gold studded jewelry also adds an accent to the styling.
