Coach has released a special collection, Coach x Kōki, on August 21st, designed in collaboration with Kōki, a model, composer and friend of Coach.

This collection is the first special item designed by Kōki, in collaboration with Coach's creative director, Stuart Vevers, and is available exclusively in Japan.

Known for her unique creativity and style, Kōki, shares Coach's playful, optimistic attitude and authentic approach to expressing yourself. Inspired by Coach's "Coach Create," an evolution of the customization program that allows customers to create unique, one-of-a-kind items, the "Coach x Kōki," collection features the "Tabby 26," customized with a number of playful patches conceived and designed by Kōki, herself. A 1970s Coach archive design bag, the Tabby has been given a modern update with polished pebble leather and signature "C" hardware. The exclusive patches on the Tabby reflect Kōki,'s unique style and her desire to create items that inspire positivity.

"What I like about this collection is that it's simple yet playful. I also like how it's positive and upbeat. The keywords I considered when designing the collection were creativity, uniqueness, confidence, and positivity," says Kōki.

"By doing so, I believe you will be able to maintain a positive and optimistic mind even in difficult times. What inspires me are the words "If you don't look up, you can't see the sky," which I always tell myself. So I designed a patch that says "LOOK UP" with clouds and a blue sky. I also designed a patch that says "Shining Hope," which is the English translation of the kanji for my real name, "MITSUKI." I hope that this bag will inspire everyone who carries it and lead them to a positive mindset."

The Coach x Kōki collection also includes a line-up of small wallets and bag charms. It will be available exclusively in Japan at Coach stores nationwide and the Coach online store from August 21, 2020.
