Apr 16, 2013

Emporio Armani opened its new flagship store in Japan on April 4th. It's located in Oak Omotesando, a complex that opened on the former site of the Hanae Mori Building in Omotesando. The approximately 600-square-meter store boasts the largest selection of EA7 sportswear in Japan, with women's on the first floor and men's on the second. The first floor also houses the Emporio Armani Café, the brand's first in Japan. LED lights are installed inside the highly transparent curtain wall exterior, one of the largest in Japan, highlighting the brand's iconic eagle logo. The café seats 30 people, both at the counter and with chairs. In addition to light meals and desserts, the menu offers a wide variety of drinks, including 25 types of coffee and eight flavored teas. During dinnertime, customers can enjoy aperitivo, a popular Italian aperitif. Armani Cafes have stores in major cities around the world, including Milan, London, Paris, Dubai, Sao Paulo, and Istanbul, and the Aoyama store will be the 12th to open worldwide.
