The main entrance of the Grand Palais is engraved with Gabrielle Chanel's name. The Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection represents CHANEL's return to the Grand Palais, and to symbolize this return, the show unleashed its wings beneath the glass nave ceiling.

The CHANEL Creation Studio unfolds a tale of flight. In the center of a cathedral-like hall bathed in light, in a space reminiscent of a magnificent aviary, an ethereal open birdcage stands, its individual structures resonating with one another. Its astonishing size, the grace of its lines and the spacing of its latticework create a dreamlike space. The placement of chairs and benches evokes the image of a park or garden.

The show began with a light, airy ballet. Chiffon capes, slit skirts, sheer and embroidered shirt dresses, flowing wide-cut slacks, jeans decorated with sequins and fringe, and trench coats printed with colorful feathers all came together in a choreographic ode to delicacy, lightness and movement.

This collection is a tribute to women who, like Gabrielle Chanel, freed themselves from society's scrutiny. The flight depicted in the show is dedicated to them. It recalls Colette, the artist and writer who thrilled music halls and was a close friend of Gabrielle Chanel; the Comme des Garçons movement that epitomized the Roaring Twenties; and the female aviators who used their voices to help change perspectives.

A wind of freedom blows through the collection: aviator jackets with striking Peter Pan collars, flight suits in black and white faille, suits with tone-on-tone tie inserts, uniform dresses with white collars, total looks in pink and blue tweed, pastel knitwear, black skirts knitted in homage to the architecture of the Grand Palais, and sparkling platform shoes.

Suits and little black dresses, tweed and jersey, quilted bags and two-tone shoes. The Creation Studio revisits the Maison's codes, and this collection, bathed in the colors of day, night and the ever-changing sky, transports you to a world of splendor and grandeur that soars over the Grand Palais.
