CHANEL has announced that it will present its 2025/26 Métiers d'Art collection in New York on December 2, 2025. The choice of the city symbolizes the special relationship between CHANEL and New York that dates back to the 1930s, from the days when Gabrielle Chanel first crossed the Pacific Ocean to visit the city, to the "Paris-New York" Métiers d'Art collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2018.

Regarding Artistic Director Mathieu Blazy's choice of New York as the setting for his first Métiers d'art collection, Bruno Pavlovsky, President of CHANEL's Fashion Division, said, "We are delighted that Mathieu Blazy has chosen New York as the setting for his first Métiers d'art collection. The creative energy of the city, which he knows well, will resonate beautifully with the Maison's exceptional savoir-faire."

First unveiled in 2002, the Métiers d'Art collection has had a unique presence in the fashion world as a platform to celebrate the exceptional skills and artistry of the "métiers" - the artisans who support CHANEL in embroidery, featherwork, decoration, pleating, shoes, millinery, and goldsmithing. Furthermore, embodying CHANEL's strong commitment to protecting, passing on, and developing its "living heritage" - savoir-faire - which it has continued since 1985, this collection is also a place for creative experimentation and a playground for free expression, reinterpreting the Maison's codes and traditions in a contemporary way.

Attention is now focused on the story of New York, CHANEL, and savoir-faire as reimagined by Mathieu Blazy.
