On April 24th, lifestyle brand Afternoon Tea LIVING released a limited-edition collaborative apron developed with models Mayama Keiko and AYUMI. A launch event was held on the same day to commemorate the release. The two models, who appeared at the event, each spoke about the ingenuity they put into creating the apron. Mayama, who aimed for a denim apron that would easily coordinate with any outfit, said, "I focused on making it look cute when worn, and I calculated the neckline and flared skirt length to suit mature women while still looking cute." AYUMI, meanwhile, created a green apron made from linen. "I focused on making sure the length was neither too short nor too long so that it would suit people of all heights. Another key point was making it two-way, so it could also be worn in a garçon style!" she said.
In preparation for Mother's Day, Afternoon Tea Living is offering around 100 different aprons that are designed to be easy to use and cute. They are also offering a number of services that are perfect for Mother's Day gifts.
The first 10,000 customers to purchase an apron will receive a free dishcloth. Also, with paid gift wrapping, a corsage will be added to the ribbon, and the first 50,000 customers to purchase a gift will receive a limited edition message card.
